How Do Content Credits Work?

Content credits reflect the depth and effort behind each asset. Not all content is equal. A long-form SEO article requires significantly more research, structuring and writing than a news update. Our credit system ensures fair, transparent pricing based on the actual scope of work involved.

  • Deep assets (2 credits): SEO articles, operator reviews, comparison pages, long-form guides. These require heavier research, structuring and depth, typically 1,200–3,000+ words.
  • Standard assets (1 credit): Brand profiles, case studies, landing page copy. Moderately structured pieces, typically 800–1,200 words.
  • Light assets (0.5 credits): News articles, LinkedIn posts, short brand updates. Typically lighter pieces that are under ~800 words and quicker to produce.

Credits are allocated based on the depth and strategic effort behind each asset, not arbitrary word counts.

This means a client requesting 10 news updates uses 5 credits, while a client requesting 5 long-form SEO articles uses 10 credits. Each pays proportionally for the actual depth of work involved.

Why Credits Instead of Word Counts?

Because content intent varies. Pricing should reflect that.

A news article does not require the same depth as a 3,000-word comparison page. A LinkedIn post does not require the same structure as a conversion review. Charging the same for both would be unfair to every client involved.

Instead of selling words, we sell structured publishing capacity weighted by effort. Deep content costs more credits because it demands more research, more structuring and more strategic depth. Lighter content costs fewer credits because the scope is smaller.

This gives you full flexibility to shape your monthly content mix around what your brand actually needs. No overpaying for light content. No underpaying for deep strategic work.

After You Sign

Once a plan is confirmed, we begin with a structured onboarding process before any content is produced.

The first step is a strategic alignment phase. Before executing content, we break down exactly how we move forward. This covers your positioning, target topics, competitive landscape, editorial priorities and publishing rhythm. Every asset produced is grounded in strategy, not assumption.

From there, you will receive a full onboarding document covering:

  • How your monthly credit allocation works
  • Content mix planning and flexibility within your tier
  • Weekly delivery structure and cadence
  • Revision policy and scope boundaries
  • What is and is not included in your engagement

Strategy comes first. Execution follows with clarity and consistency from day one.
